"Your friends are listening to" on spotify mobile

I have noticed within the last month that my spotify mobile has been showing a section called "your friends are listening to" to my understanding friend activity is not available in mobile yet and i'm curious to know what that is. It doesn't always update but only rotates the same songs. I know whose music it is showing so im curious to know why it is showing them.

**bleep** thissss !! I've been using Spotify for a while now and it'd be really nice to see a tab or smth like insta status bar at the top that shows friend's activity.

I mean this thread brought up by OP since 2 years ago so..
