spotify premium offline

I want to know why I can not search for songs while I'm offline. I pay for this system and I want to listen to songs offline without downloading them, just searching for them.

It's not possible to search for songs that you didn't download on your device, without an internet connection, even if you're on offline mode.

That would be a breakthrough!

It’s like saying I pay for my cable tv but I want it to work when I disconnect the cable from my TV. It’s just not possible. Spotify works by streamig the songs stored on their servers and only Premium users can enjoy them when not connected to the internet. I guess you can search for the songs you did download but not the other ones because Spotify didn’t download all the data it holds in their servers, even if you wanted to your device wouldn’t hold it. 

Spotify app is the bridge between you and the music the company has to offer to its costumers, it is not a miracle doer, even though I would consider the music I listen through it as such.
