upgrade from duo to family

My Question or Issue

I want to upgrade my duo subscription to a family subscription, but when I want to change my subscription I can only choose between a free subscription or a student subscrition. So, how can I upgrade to a family subscription. I am the main subscriber, so that's not the issue.

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!

In this case, I would recommend first canceling your current Premium Duo subscription by following these steps:

1. Log in to your account page
2. Under Your plan, click Change Plan
3. Scroll to Spotify Free and click Cancel Premium

At your next billing date (which you can view on your account page), the accounts of both members from the old Premium Duo subscription will revert to the free plan.

You can then start a new Premium Family plan here and invite the other members of your residence to Premium Family by following the steps in this support article.
