Hey there folks,

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community.

Spotify charges an account only once per month. We'd suggest that you take a look at your Receipts page. There you should be able to see all your charges and check if you've been charged for a certain month.

Keep in mind that it's possible you've had some failed payments on your account for the past few months, and the system was able to take the payments with a certain delay.

Lastly, you might have another account with us and that you might be paying for this account. If that's the case - head here to find more steps for locating your other account. Once you've located it, you can cancel the subscription by following the steps in this article.

On another note, it'd also be a good idea to check if your family or friends have used your payment info to pay for their Spotify subscription. If that's the case, they should cancel or change their payment method and reimburse you.

Hope you get this sorted out soon. If you need anything else, the Community is here for you.

Dia 09 segunda, paguei o app, e hoje, dia 16 a cobrança já veio novamente

I signed up for duo family plain which should be only $16.99 which i was charged in September. However, for the months of October, November and December I am being charged $16.99 and $19.99 which is a total of $36.98 . I expect a refund of $59.97 ASAP. Not sure why being charged twice. Thank you! Donna Berna

Hace poco más de 3 meses me han hecho cobro 2 veces al mes por una sola cuenta, cancele mi suscripción y me sigue llegando el cobro y ya no tengo cuenta premium

I am being charged for 2 Spotify accounts when I only have 1 and use 1.

I need help please to cancel my other one

hoy me cobraron este monto de 20.90 no sé por qué pero quiero que me solucionen porque me deberían cobrar solamente 11.90

I was billed for Premium two days ago. My partner wanted to try Spotify to listen to audio books. After changing plans, we were charged $20 for the duo - so double charged. Found out that my partner can't listen to books on Duo. We had to pay a further $15.99 per 10 hours. This is extremely deceiving plus charging a card twice for the same service falls either in theft/fraud or both. There is no help for finding out details of payments. Considering whether I am the only one and if not maybe we should start a Class Action? Your thoughts?

For the past few months my payment deadline is getting sooner and sooner. I’m paying for a full month but you keep asking for money from my account at least 2 weeks after I paid.

My Question or Issue

I have been charged twice this month for my Duo plan. It happened last month as well. Its 10 euro and some cents, but still im being charged 20 something euros a month for a duo plan.

Hi @Klikli2003, welcome to the Community!

That's odd. Have you checked your payment history?

If you only see one charge per month, you might have a second Spotify account.

There are a few ways you can use to locate it:

1. Check your email addresses

  • Enter any email addresses you use into our password reset form. If there's an account associated with it, we’ll let you know in your email inbox. Tip: you can look for an email with the subject “Reset your password” and then follow the steps to recover your account.
  • Check your email inboxes, including any spam or junk folders, for emails from Spotify. If you have any, it’s likely there’s an account associated with that email address.

Once you've checked your email addresses and found any of the above, you can use that email address to log in.

If you aren't sure of your account's password, continue to reset the account’s password, then use that email address and the new password to log in.

2. Check Facebook

It's also possible to register for a Spotify account using your Facebook credentials. To check if you have a Spotify account connected to Facebook:

  1. Log into Facebook and select Settings on the dropdown in the top-right.
  2. Choose Apps and Websites.
  3. If you see the Spotify icon, you have a Spotify account connected to Facebook.

If you find Spotify listed in your apps, you can access that Spotify account by choosing LOG IN WITH FACEBOOK in the login page.

If you'd like to go on using Spotify without Facebook or have deactivated Facebook, we'd suggest taking a look at this Spotify Answer for more info.

Keep in mind that you can also sign up for Spotify using a phone number, Apple, or Google. Try logging in to the account page with these options.

Let me know if it helps!

Hi there, and thanks for reaching out.

Can you please check your order history to see if the charges match the ones in your bank statement?
