why can't I get the student discount on my new Spotify account

why can't I get the student discount on my new Spotify account

I tried to get tge discount on my old account but it was with a different email. I deleted that account successfully but I still can't get the discount on this new account. why?

Thanks for reaching out. 

 

The Student verification doesn't really depend on what email address you use. In other words, you don't need to use the same email address in your account and with SheerID in order to get the verification. There must be something else that is causing this. If the error you get is that the discount has been activated on another account, then perhaps it was activated on your old account. Try restoring it using the confirmation email and check the account page. If the discount needs to be moved, feel free to reach out to our support team, they can assist you further. Make sure to have all of your payment information on hand, as our team will need it to find the payments and verify you as the account owner.
