Artist Goes to artist page instead of albums in library

Artist Goes to artist page instead of albums in library

When I click on the artist section in my library and choose an artist it takes me to their artist page instead of the albums in my library that ive saved. Also when i save an album to my library it does not add the artist to my artist section. Is this the default way that spotify functions?? If it is then i think its pretty bad design and will probably switch to a different streaming platform.

If not how can i fix this?

I want my artist to all show up when i save a song or album and then when i click on the artist it takes me to the albums and songs ive saved instead of their artist page. Whats the point of even saving things if i have to go look for it again on their artist page.

Saving albums and sorting by albums work but it's not my preffered way of getting to my music. Let me know thank you!

Hey @ZipperdBubble, welcome to the Spotify Community! 🎵

To answer your question directly, this flow is how Spotify currently works. However, there is one more way to see all your saved songs and albums from an artist in a single place.

You can open an artist's page and click the "You liked..." section below the follow button. This will show you all the songs and the albums you saved in your library from that artist.

Regarding the following process, if you want an artist profile in your library, you must click follow explicitly.

If you have an idea, feel free to share it in the ideas board.

Let me know if you need help with anything else. 🙂
