I am unable to add an album to a playlist

What happens when you try to add an album to your playlist? Do you get an error message? Also, can you let me know what device this occurs on, as well as the current operating system?

There is no prompt at all to add the album to the playlist. As for my phone
it is an android, samsung galaxy note (10?), the OS is v9
