Cannot play songs because they are grayed out

My Question or Issue

I cannot play Thomas Dolby songs because they are all greyed out. Before Spotify had these songs, I used Local Files to synch them. Now that spotify has them, I have removed the local files, reinstalled spotify, etc. I have zero local files now.

Yet on all my devices, I cannot play these songs because they are grayed out. How do I undo this erroneous linkage so Spotify can just play its native versions of all the Thomas Dolby songs? Thanks.

We want all the world’s music and podcasts on Spotify, but availability can vary over time and between countries, depending on the permissions from rights holders.

We add new content to Spotify every day, so if you can’t find something you’re looking for right now, it may appear (or reappear) soon.

However, if you've used the "Local Files" feature to upload the content you can do the process again and listen to your legal files on Spotify.
