Discover Weekly has lost its ability to recommend song I like

It seems like Spotify analytics is malfunctioning. I don’t like the types of music suddenly being recommended in Discover Weekly at all. It’s almost as if someone else’s analytics are being applied to my long-held account. Discover weekly is the reason I subscribe to Spotify over Apple Music. Maybe the new DJ feature is replacing Discover Weekly by deliberately degrading Discover Weekly ?

Unfortunately, I notice that it can sometimes latch onto one genre if I listened to an artist or an album frequently in a short period of time. It takes weeks to get out of that cycle. I wish there was a way to set how far back it should take into account.
