Downloading liked songs

Hi!

I downloaded my liked songs on Spotify, but I've noticed I've got a lot of duplicates (e.g: one song from the standard version of an album, and the same exact song from the deluxe version.) I want to tidy things up not to waste storage space, but I'm not sure what to do. Will unlike the duplicate songs also delete them from my downloads? Or should I manually delete them? Also, if I like new songs, will they download automatically?

Yes, if you unlike one of the songs it will not be in Your Liked songs and won't be downloaded. You can go to Storage section inside Settings in Spotify and clear the cache to remove the space that song as taking.

That's true as well, if you have any playlist or Liked Songs in this case with the download toggle on, anything you add on them will be automatically downloaded.

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

We'd recommend running a clean reinstall of the app. Please follow the steps from this Spotify Guide exactly, as this will assure that all app data is cleared completely, before reinstalling.

Note that after clearing your app data and cache you'd have to re-download all your offline content. 

If after this some songs are still not getting downloaded, let us know if they're just grayed out or they're missing from the Liked songs playlist altogether. A screenshot would also be helpful.
