My Question or Issue

Hey I've recently seen that Spotify introduced a new feature - Friends Mix https://newsroom.spotify.com/2022-07-28/jam-to-the-hits-your-bffs-love-with-friends-mix-your-newest-... . I've invited a few friends to Blend, and now have 3 Blends, but I can not see Friends Mix nor on Desktop nor on iPhone.

Is this feature available globally?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

Friends Mix is a recently released feature available to all users worldwide. If you already have 3 or more blends with your friends, you can find this mix in your library.

To find it, open the Spotify desktop app and click on the search button of the left-side menu. Once there, click in Made for you. On top of this section, you'll find your blends and Friends mix. However, if you don't have the playlists there, could you send us a screenshot to have a better look at the issue?

Also, it's always worth logging out and back in to force the sync between your device and account.

Lastly, include in your next response the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating your case.

We'll be on the lookout.

So I think it works. But it's not clear how exactly it should works.

Today I've got a friend mix playlist with 2 of my friends. So now I have 3 blends playlists and 1 Friends Mix Playlists for 3 people.

How does Spotify decide when it should be a Friend Mix, and when it should be Blend?

Thanks for your reply in this thread and for the info shared 🙂

We could replicate this issue from our side. So! We could see the Friends Mix, but only when we joined 5 one-on-one Blends. In this case, we'd like you to try it: join at least five 2-person Blends to see if that does the trick. If yes, let us know so we can pass the info to the right folks.

Keep in mind the one with three users doesn't count in this case, since to be able to see Friends mix, it's necessary to have just Blends one-on-one (between you and one other friend).

We'll keep an eye on your response!
