How do we search in a playlist on Android?

Is there a search option once we are in the playlist? I cant seem to find it anywhere.

If you would like the Search function to be reimplemented within playlists, make sure to head on over here and add your vote to the idea. The more votes that the idea garners, the more likely it is that Spotify will consider reimplementing it!

That link describes options that dont exist on the Android app. At least not in my case. My app is of the latest version.

I do not have any of the circled options that are present in that image and they are nowhere to be found. I have looked everywhere.

I am on this 3-month trial, but there is no way I'd renew. What a disgrace of an android app.

When you have a playlist open, you simply need to slide down and a search bar will appear.

Sliding down does NOT currently work.  I'm on a Google Pixel Pro 6 with latest Android and Spotify versions.
