I am not able to transfer my Spotify account onto my Apple Watch.

Apple suggested re-installing the app on my iPhone and then trying again. I don’t know how to do that and make sure I don’t lose my music.

Thanks for posting this thread in the Community!

It's possible that the app needed an update, but no worries you won't lose your Spotify account. 

On your iPhone you download Spotify from the App Store and when it comes to getting the app on the watch, go to the Watch app on your iPhone > scroll down until you see Spotify and then make sure that the toggle Show App on Apple Watch is On. 

As long as you're logged in to your account in the app on the phone, it should synchronize with the watch and you should be able to view your content there as well.
