My Question or Issue
I really look forward to my discover weekly playlist and actively use the button "I don't like this song". On Android a message then pops up to say "We won't play that song in this playlist" which is fine.
When I was playing the playlist on my pc however and pushed the same button a different message popped up, something along the lines of 'we won't play this type of song " which is completely different. Any idea how it works because I don't want to block myself off from discovering new great music because of one disliked track.
Hey @PsychMonkey,
Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.
What happens when you use the I don't like this song button should be the same on both desktop and mobile.
As a heads-up, it'd be good to consider that such actions as 'disliking' a song or an artist are generally factored in the app's algorithm to determine your future listening suggestions.
Hope you'll find this info useful. Let us know if there's anything else we can help with!
Hey there @PsychMonkey,
The in app notifications might be different (it's Removed from Liked Songs on desktop and We won’t play that song in this playlist. in the mobile version) but the result will be the same, no matter on which device you hit Hide this song. Sorry for the confusion!

Hello again @PsychMonkey,
That's correct - it will only affect the one particular song (or songs by that artist, depending on which option you choose) that won't be recommended again.
Hope this answers your question. If there's anything else you need help with, we'll be right here to lend you a hand 🙂
