Hello,
On my new Android phone, newly liked songs do not play from the “Liked Songs” playlist, but they play normally from albums or search.
My old phone works fine with the same account.
I already tried reinstalling the app, logging out, clearing cache, and resetting downloads.
This seems to be a Liked Songs library sync/index issue on my account.
Can someone help me or i have to wait that spotify repair it?

I have same problem. My liked songs on the phone does not sync between PC and car radio. I don't know what to do. Logging out and log in again does not help.
Issue is not fixed. Using mobile and desktop apps.
This is highly annoying guys, this bug exists for several years now. I'm tired of reinstalling the app each time i switch from one device to another.
If you can't sync tracks properly, just add one big refresh button and call it a day.

I am experiencing a persistent Liked Songs sync issue on my account.
Songs that I have liked on the Android app appear correctly on Android but do not appear on the desktop app. This has been ongoing for some time and is not a temporary delay. Likes added on desktop do sync to mobile, but not the other way around.
I have already:
Confirmed I am logged into the same account on all devices
Reinstalled the desktop app completely
Logged out and back in
Verified the issue affects many songs, not just one
Based on this, I believe my account has a server-side Liked Songs library indexing issue. I am requesting a reset or reindex of my Liked Songs library at the account level.

Still not working. I am seriously considering switching to another platform or even free alternatives. Years with this issue, the incompetence of the Spotify team is unbelievable.
I spent the entire day speaking with customer support, and they only asked for screenshots and kept transferring me from one agent to another. I wasted the whole afternoon and was offered no solution other than uninstalling the app.
Issue still persist even if it says that has been fixed. My liked songs dont sync from my android phone and PC (windows app and also on Linux). I've tried logging out and re-login but nothing changed. Please Fix it

Liked songs added on one device are not visible on another device.
Logout + login does not help. App reinstall does not help. Clearing local cache does not help.
No matter what I've done, I cannot get my liked playlist to sync between my phone. Not to mention there are so many playlists I have that on my phone work, but when i open the same playlist on the desktop app half the songs are greyed out or completely unplayable. This company is a joke that prioritizes corporate profits over the user experience. I will be cancelling and staying with YT music.
the AI DJ is trash on spotify, all it does is play a different section of my liked playlist on shuffle. when i request a new vibe it will just jump to a different spot on my liked playlist and continue the shuffle, sooooo dumb.

Having the same issue. Syncs between two iPhone without problem but the iPad hasn’t received the newly added ones yet. Still. UTD on all software.
The issue has not been resolved. Songs added to “Liked Songs” via the Android app do not appear in the Linux Mint desktop application, although they are visible in the Arch Linux desktop application, the web app, and the iPhone 11 app. Logging out, killing the Spotify process, and clearing the cache do not resolve the issue.
no me refiero a la sincronización en si, al mismo wifi y demás, me refiero a las canciones; en el celular tengo canciones en mis me gusta que no aparecen en los me gusta de la aplicación en la pc, cuando pongo algunas de esas canciones me dice que no es posible reproducirlas, no son archivos locales, los busco individualmente en la pc y funcionan, pero no desde mi playlist. En cambio en el celular funciona perfectamente.

There is 4 years old reddit post talking about that issue with the same given solutions, and i already tried all of them
My playlist on my phone (Android 16) has 499 Songs, the same playlist on the desktop app (Linux and windows) and the web app has 472 Songs, the same playlist on my old phone (Android 13) has 470 songs
I guessed it was a problem from my phone as the web app isn't synced either, so i tried
logout -> login : tried three times, nothing changed
clear cache : nothing new
total shutdown and restart the app : nothing
go offline mode and update the playlist : it synced the newly added one, but didn't sync the rest of them
add a song on any device : just sync that song to every other devices, but still doesn't sync fully
I started to try desktop related solution, even though i didn't believe in them as the web app isn't synced, which means the server isn't aware of the songs liked on the phone
Delete data and restart : nothing
logout -> relogin : nothing
delete %appdata%/spotify/users : the spotify folder doesn't exist
offline mode and update somewhere : nothing
and that doesn't concern only the "liked songs" playlist, but all of my playlists
the only thing i didn't try is to uninstall/reinstall the app, because my guess is that it will delete the data, and i'll loose those playlist
I wanted to do it manually, then i discovered i can't select multiple songs at once, which means i need to do it one by one, which is taking a seriously long time.
It's the first music player i'm using where i can't pick multiple songs at once to do the same action on all of them.
that could have been an easy "fix" as i could select all 497 songs, add them to a a new/temp playlist and work from that.
every version are up to date (i'm not given any update when i'm looking for one on the microsoft store/play store)
Same network for all of the devices
i started to see that desync because i went two weeks away from home, added songs, created playlist, came back, and the newly added songs weren't in the playlist, but before that, i had zero problem

We've been noticing that after the fix of the initial issue from this Ongoing Issues thread, we've been getting some additional reports that the sync still doesn't work for some of you. With this in mind, we'd like to take another look into this and see if anything needs doublechecking on our end 🙂

Doesn't work Android>Desktop. Tried everything - clearing cache, offline mode method, even reinstalling the app on both devices and still doesn't work. It's honestly **bleep**ing insulting that I'm paying money for this service and it still has significant bugs that are over 4 years old now.

Hello, this seems to be a reoccurring issue now where the desktop app does not have the liked songs synced. They appear on mobile and on the web app but the desktop app it does not. It was the same thing a couple of hours ago. It keeps happening.
I have tried signing out everywhere via the link. Updated the application. Clean installation of the application. Clear cache on phone and on desktop. I don't know what the solution could be this is getting frustrating as its happening almost once a month now.

Our tech team recently investigated the behavior you're describing in this thread. The root cause has since been discovered and hotfixed, so we believe this shouldn't occur anymore. However, any songs you might have saved during that period could have been improperly cached, so I'd recommend removing them and adding them again to force a resync.
What you can do is have Spotify open and running on all devices, then remove & re-add a recent song from each device to see if that would force the playlist to update.
