My Question or Issue

The result of liking an album seems to change sometimes (due to updates). Currently, when liking an album, all songs on the album are included in the liked songs for that specific artist on the Artist page, which makes this feature (listening to all liked songs by a specific artist) useless.

When liking an album, the songs on the album do not appear in your Liked Songs playlist, and I would want the Artist page to work the same way.

It would be nice to 'independently' be able to like artists, albums and songs.

Does anyone know of a way to make this work - or know if this is an issue being looked into?

Hey @reemloth,

Thanks for your post.

In order to help further, could you clarify where exactly you're seeing all the songs from an album you've liked?

It would be great if you can share a screenshot.

Cheers.

I am seeing this issue as well, still today. When I click on the "Liked Songs by [Artist]" playlist within that Artist's page in my Spotify account, it includes all songs I've Liked as well as lots of songs that do not include a green Liked heart. It seems to sometimes include every song from Liked albums, and sometimes not, so I can't tell what the bug is precisely, but my Liked by [Artist] playlists definitely include a lot songs that are not Liked, which is really frustrating for trying to listen to specific artist's songs on shuffle.

Hi @matthewmagellan!

Currently, the app groups both liked songs and saved albums in the Liked Songs section on the Artist page.

Here's an idea about revamping this feature so that only liked songs are displayed instead, so feel free to check it out and add your +VOTE to show your support!

Cheers!

I can't believe this hasn't been fixed yet!

It's so annoying and it seems like an "easy" fix since it already works fine in one place!

Also having the same issue, I would appreciate extending the functionality from the iOS app (where liked releases and liked songs are separated on the artist page) to the desktop app.

My Question or Issue

Hello! I noticed that on the Windows Desktop Spotify app (unsure about Mac), if I save an album (add to my library, use the + button), then when looking at the liked songs of an artist (not all liked songs, just the ones on the artist's profile), all the songs in the album are included even if I haven't actually liked them. When I open the mobile iOS app, it (correctly?) shows only the songs by that artist that I've actually liked, and has a separate section for "Liked Releases", albums. I'm assuming that this feature hasn't come to the Windows Desktop version of the Spotify app, but I don't like that songs I haven't liked are lumped with songs I actually have liked together. Also, these songs don't appear in my Liked Songs, only in the liked songs of the artist. I've attached a couple screenshots to show this discrepancy. The screenshot of my Liked Songs playlist shows how I haven't liked all the songs in the album I saved.
