Liked songs sometimes don't appear as liked, they repeat on my "liked songs"

My Question or Issue

I have over 2k liked songs. Sometimes, i'll play some of these songs from their albums, or from playlist or from search, and many times they'll appear as if i hadn't liked them. Obviously with so many liked songs i'm not always sure which songs i've saved at any given time, so oftentimes i'll like it again. This means many songs are actually repeated on my liked songs, and i find very annoying to not be able to instantly know if i've actually liked a certain song before, or to end up finding the same song 2 or even 3 times on my library, from the exact same album.

I've attached an example with Ariana Grande's "Nasa", it's in my liked songs, however if i search it or go to the album it won't appear as if i've already liked it.

I have they same problem but it's also doing the same thing regarding whether or not certain songs are my playlists, can somebody please take a look at this? It's been driving me mad the entire year.

Thanks for the post.

I thought I'd jump in here to explain what is happening. 

Sometimes certain songs/ albums get taken down from Spotify due to licensing issues. Most songs make their way back on the platform either in the form of their original release or as a new release/ remaster. It can happen that a song is uploaded twice, with different metadata and even if the title/ artist is the same, the app treats those different releases as different songs. Our content teams are doing their best to always consolidate such duplicated songs, but this is not always possible due to a number of factors, including licensing agreements.

Other users feel the same way about this. You can check out this Idea thread and add your +Vote to show support. The developers are aware of this issue, but we don't have official info if there is going to be a permanent solution.
