Local Files: Some of my songs just keep disappearing from my Local Files

My Question or Issue

Some of my files in my local file sometimes just disappear. I don't know if it's being read or not but when I drag that file out and put it back in, Spotify then detects it. It usually occurs when I boot up my PC but it has happened just randomly. It's also worth mentioning that the same files are disappearing from the Local Files. I have tried uninstalling and creating a new folder for it's pathway but I don't think that's working at all. Any clue on fixing this?

The last update broke indexing for local files whenever they have "special" characters. Maybe that's related to your issue.

Si...con esta ultima actualización este problema es algo frecuente...por suerte...he encontrado una solución temporal para esto...sin embargo este método requiere de un programa externo pero lo vale con tal de que spotify nos lea todos los archivos locales...aquí te dejo mi solución, espero les sirva:

1) Instalar un programa llamado "mp3tag" y ejecutarlo

2) Abrir Spotify, ir a "configuración" y añadir tu carpeta de música a "archivos locales"

3) Una vez hayas agregado la carpeta a Spotify, vuelves a "mp3tag" y agregas la misma carpeta al programa externo

4) Seleccionas todas las canciones de la lista con "Ctrl + A" luego te diriges a la esquina izquierda superior, le das clic a "Archivo" y luego a "Guardar etiquetas"

5) Esperas que termine la carga, y finalmente regresas a Spotify y "sorpresa" tus archivos con caracteres especiales han sido leídos con éxito nuevamente

Sé que es un método algo complejo pero vale la pena...espero te haya funcionado, un gran saludo desde Latinoamerica 🙂

Buen dato. Ahora ya bajé de versión y recontruí toda la biblioteca, pero para la próxima voy a tener en cuenta este programa.
¿Si cerrás y abrís Spotify sigue leyendo bien los archivos locales?
