Hi, also having this issue. And I'm not happy about it. If this is a permanent feature, then thats ridiculous AND not disability friendly. We should not have to pay extra for lyrics we already had access to. This better get fixed.

This is completely horrific, my problem is the more updates that make no sense completely make there app non-useful. I've been having problem with my lyrics on my Chromebook, but now this? This completely make me want to delete the app.

I honestly hate this “Update” is there a way to possibly make it be removed? I’m sick of weird paywalls, I need lyrics because I rock in the dark with music, and it’s the only way it doesn’t time out my iPad to make it turn off. (Rocking is a stim, or sensory thing.) honestly I can’t really use Spotify like this if there’s a LIMIT. My feedback?; noooo way I’m ever getting premium and supporting this.

Same happened to me Spotify just updated and Spotify showed me 'explore Premium for this feature'

This is called enshittification. It's when investors are hungry for more money and they start turning free features behind a paywall - always a little bit taller than the previous one.

Here's some feedback for you: you're losing customers and destroying what used to be a cool service. Do you really think removing free features will turn more people into buying premium? We'll all just go back to pirating...
