you are killing ur community, this is not what i want and many others want because this could mean the end of spotify if u keep locking stuff behind premium, people will move to pandora even youtube music or pirate the songs.

I've started using other apps to listen to music and I advise you to the same. It's clear these money hungry monkeys are getting desperate and it will only get worse. They really think that taking away lyrics from free users will convince them to buy premium 💀. This just made spotify even more annoying for all of us then it already was, because we have to look the lyrics up on the internet. Instead of getting relaxed by listening to music on Spotify, all I got was annoyed and angry by the constant adds and now this.

I swear people do actual Arena 54 raids but on Spotify, just of this they don't even have lyrics for all songs and now you need to pay to see them for those few that have lyrics.

I have a massive bone to pick with whichever one of you made the change to the sidebar where you cannot smoothly set a desired size, that there is now a "deadzone" where you cannot scale the sidebar and it just snaps between too narrow and too big who thought this was a good Idea completely ruins the ui experience no I do not want to "zoom out" because you don't show the names of anything unless you hover really fixing what ain't broke here it is tiny and petty but ruined my whole afternoon say goodbye to a freeloader and having to pay for lyrics too? how much more greedy can you be

Making us pay for premium JUST to get lyrics is ridiculous. We'll all just start googling lyrics or making up the words. This is NOT good advertising. We're all not happy with this. Please get this experiment done soon.

i'm neurodivergent and the lyrics function helps me understand what's going on in the song. without it, if i'm listening to a song for the first time, my brain doesn't register it correctly until i look up the lyrics on google, which i don't prefer at all. not even to mention deaf and hard-of-hearing people who want to enjoy their music, or just people who appreciate having synced lyrics. bring them back, that's all i'm asking.
