Hey there @Andrea_Reynoso

Thanks for getting in touch about this and welcome to the Community! Hope you don't mind a reply in English as it's the official language of the Community.

We understand that you try to add new songs to your playlist, but they don't appear in it. However, you can see them in Your Library, could you let us know where exactly?

On another note, sending us a screen recording of this behavior would come in handy. You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Video option in the post editor. You can also upload it to Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has the permissions for anyone to see it).

We'll be on the lookout.

Hola!!
Tengo 2 problemas;

Gracias

I have 2 problems;

1- when I want to add a new song to a playlist in my library, it does not appear and I cannot add the desired song.

2. When I'm listening to a specific playlist, it mixes with another playlist and starts playing it without having selected it.

Hey @Karen33970,

Thank you for keeping in contact.

This type of issue is commonly related to some damaged cache stored on your device that might be affecting the proper behavior of the app. So in this case, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article.

If the issue persists, and taking into account the behavior you mentioned on your first point, would you mind confirming if you're trying to add a song to a playlist you've created or to one you've followed?

The second issue you mentioned could be related to some tracks being added to the queue by mistake. In this case, we'd first recommend clearing the Play Queue by following the steps mentioned here.

Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.

Hello! Same problem! Were you able to solve it? How? Thanks!!

Hi there @Chris281,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community and welcome!

Could you send us a detailed description of the issue? Are you seeing any error messages? Or are you just not seeing the songs you add to your playlists? If you get an error message, send over a screenshot so we can take a look.

In the meantime, you can try clearing the app's cache by going into Settings > Storage > Clear cache. If that doesn't help, it's best to reinstall the app by following these steps

Lastly, check if this happens from any other device or the Web Player, and send us the make, model, and OS version of the device you're using and the Spotify version you're running.

We'll wait for your reply!

Hello!

Thank you for reaching out. I was part of Duo Premium but switched to
Individual Premium. In that process, I copied the link of all the playlists
so that my new user would have the same as the old one.

But, now, when I want to add a song to any of my playlists, only the
"Favorite songs" list appear (see attached image). However, in my library,
all the lists appear. It seems the issue is only to integrate new songs.

Also, how do I transfer My favorite songs (the one you click the heart) to
my new user? I can't find the way to do it!!

Hope I explained the situation enough. Thank you!

Hi @Chris281,

Thanks for your reply and the info provided.

First up, take into account that only the owner/creator account of the playlists can edit them. This means you can only edit those playlists from the account you created them from. If you have a new user/account and you're following the playlists, you won't be able to edit them from that new account, because that account is not the owner.

You have a few options in this case. One, you can cancel the subscription from the new account and then wait until the Premium time is over. Once that happens, you can close that account and log back into the original one where you have all your playlists. If you want to change subscriptions, you can always cancel the current subscription and then subscribe to any other plan.

The second option is to log in to your original account and make all the playlists Collaborative. Then send an invitation to yourself and accept it from your new account. When playlists are Collaborative, each user you send the invitation to can add songs.

Third,  you can create new playlists with the same songs from your new account. To do so:

1. Create a new playlist and name it.

2. Go to one of the original playlists and select the 3 dots.

3. Select 'Add to other playlist' and then add them to the new playlist you created.

You can do that with all the playlists. That way, the new account will be the owner and you'll be able to edit them without issues from there.

Lastly, is not possible to transfer content between accounts.

If you have any questions or need anything else, the Community is here for you.
