Other artist songs playing in my single artist playlist

Created a playlist for a single artist and added songs from that artist to it.  But as the playlist is running every so often another artist's song plays.  Why does this happen?

Thanks for reaching out.

This is usually from Smart Shuffle or Autoplay which will include recommendations in your playlists. Additionally, if you're on free, recommendations being included in playlists is to be expected.

I believe SmartShuffle may very well be the issue.  I have never noticed that option before, just standard shuffle.  I'll have to test it to see what happens by selecting only standard shuffle, but thank you for your insight and suggestion.
