Playlist Songs Not Playable Across Devices?

Hi,

I have a wierd (to me) problem where I have all of my playlists nicely organized, but the songs in those playlists are not playing across my various devices. In the list of songs, the titles are greyed out, and they're not playable.

• I first organized these playlists on Computer 1 (MacBook Air 13") through the Spotify application. All songs in all playlists appear correctly there and play as normal.
• On the following devices, only some of the playlists show and play songs normally. All other playlists show the greyed out and unplayable songs:
  • Computer 2 (MacBook Air 13") through the Spotify application
  • iPhone 6S plus through the Spotify App
  • Browser-based Spotify player

The songs will NOT download when I choose to do so within each playlist. I choose to download, and it just never does so.

How do I get all songs to download, show and play on all devices?
