Usually, those with the ability to check on this for you, don't post in the community.

It's been more than 3 business days since I replied to the mailbox that gave me the original email, and they haven't replied. What's wrong with posting in this community about this topic? It's a discussion forum, is it not? 

Those emails may be automated with no one to check replies. I don't know what the email says, as I've never seen one.

Posting about this in the community is fine, and I'm usually very active here. However, most of the users here are people who happen to use Spotify (me) or moderate these forums. For your case, you'll likely receive a better/faster response if you take your question directly to support.
