My Question or Issue

I'm used to manually rearrange the song order on my playlists quite often on the Windows App, and never had any problems doing so. But since the redesign, there's an issue when I try to rearrange a large selection of songs. When I do that, a chunk of the songs selected jump to the top of the list, messing up the order.

Hey @bruckdahousecat,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.

Does this issue happen also when changing the sorting order, let's say by date added or by duration? How about when using our web player

In any case, we recommend that you clean reinstall Spotify on the device where this occurs. This step lets you start afresh with the latest app version by removing any corrupted files from previous installations.  Note also that we recommend installing the Spotify app from the Microsoft version as it's the one best optimized for Windows 10.

If that doesn't fix, could you share screenshots or a recording of what you see at your end? We'll be happy to take a closer look.

Hope you find this useful. Let us know how you get on.
