Playlist recently added probability distribution

Playlist recently added probability distribution

I have large playlists, and a lot of the older songs I've heard multiple times already. Is there a setting to skew the probability distribution of songs played to more recent ones? This would mean I have a higher chance of hearing a recently added song than an older one.

I think this is a great feature that should be added if it doesn't already exist.

Hey there,

Currently, Spotify has no feature that allows you to manually edit the probability distribution (at least none that I'm aware of).

I recommend checking out the ideas page to get your ideas on how Spotify could be improved implemented.

I hope this answer was helpful and I wish you a good day!

Doesn't have to be manually editable. Just something that's already pre-made for "being biased higher to newer songs."

Yeah, that's what I mean. Currently, there is no option to change what shuffle prefers.
