Hey @inetbas,

Thanks for getting back to us.

It seem likely that the song became unavailable due to the reasons posted above after this week's edition of your Release Radar was compiled. We understand how this can cause some confusion and will take your report into consideration when moving forward.

Hope this shines a bit of light on the matter. We'll be here if you have any other questions.

Hey @inetbas,

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

Could you send us a screenshot of how Release Radar looks on your end?

Also, let us know if you've blocked any of the suggested artists by any chance.

We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

Hello Alex,

Thank you for your fast reply.
I found it last night on my ipad. But as this is an platform independent issue here is a screenshot from Spotify App on Windows 10. Showing exact the same. BTW it is also the first song in the Release Radar playlist that is greyed out.

I had this occasionally before, but didn't pay attention to it. Now it was the first songs prominent showing this.

Oh yeah, I have not block this artist or song earlier. So finding it strange to get suggestions for new songs that are at the end not available to you.

Hey @inetbas,

Thanks for the reply.

Could you send us a link/URI to the grayed out track, so we can check if it's indeed an availability issue or something else?

Also you can try connecting to another network and check whether those songs are still grayed out. This can sometimes be caused by networking errors.

Disabling you VPN is also a good option if you're using one.

Keep us posted.

Hello Alex,

Here is the link of the song in question.

https://open.spotify.com/track/6wFQtOkKPinFDfkDsKvDp0

My laptop is wired connected to my main ethernet switch.

My iPad connects over Wifi.

I don't believe that in this case the issue is with the network as such.
My ISP is a Belgian cable operator, Telenet, and I have 200/20 Mbps connection.

Hello Ivan,

Thank you also for replying.  I understand what a greyed out songs means. And in other playlists I even see others songs getting greyed out. Which is another topics and sometimes annoying too.

But this is Release Radar playlist that should be a Playlist personally curated by Spotify for me. Then it is strange to offer songs that are greyed out from the start.

That is actually the point I am trying to make.

Brgds, Bas.

Hi there @inetbas

Thanks for getting back to us.

If you see a certain track as greyed out it's possible the release isn't currently available in your area. Spotify works hard to constantly add music to its content database, but availability can vary over time and between countries, depending on agreements between Spotify and rights holders, such as artists or record labels.

We add new content to Spotify every day, so if you can’t play this track right now, it may appear soon. Alternatively, you can always contact the artist or record label with your query or make use of the local files feature.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any questions.
