My Question or Issue

When I open the tv app and navigate to a library folder, not all the songs are shown until I scroll down to the bottom and keep doing so until all are displayed.  Is this necessary for it to play all the songs in a library?  It seems if I don't do this, they don't all play.  All the other apps automatically show all the songs.

Hey there @JGreene,

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community.

This is most likely happening so that the TV can load up all the songs in good time and you can access the content faster without waiting for all songs to load. This can also be depended on your networking speeds.

Can you let us know what happens if you play the last song in the list of loaded titles before scrolling down - do songs continue to load and play or does playback stop there?

Looking forward to your reply.

Thanks for the reply.  I can't scroll down to select the last song before the next group loads.  But, Instead of scrolling down, I just hit play.  I skipped forward until I reached the last song and it wouldn't skip forward for maybe 30 to 60 seconds. I'm guessing that's the time it takes for the next group to load while playing music.

The internet I have is fairly fast.  It's charter 200 mbps.  Is it possible that it is too slow?

Hi @JGreene!

I wouldn't say this is caused by the internet connection, since like you pointed out, it's more than fast enough. What you can try out is reinstalling the app (if you haven't already) to see if it would have any effect on the performance. Feel free to also share a short video which shows the app's behavior in action so we can have a clear idea of how things look on your end.

Cheers!
