My Question or Issue

Spotify seems **bleep** bent on taking certain songs off my playlist. Ive had to put the same songs back into my playlist for 4 days in a row now, and ive had a playlist go from 45+ hours down to 14 hours because of this issue. All of my playlists are being affected and ive lost hours and hours of music that I probably wont be able to find again. With the amount of hours i put into finding new music and adding to my playlist, it makes it very hard to keep using spotify when i dont hear these issues happening with other music streaming services. If this issue isnt fixed i wont be paying for a subscription anymore because its getting ridiculous. Im not sure if theres a limit to the amount of songs you can have saved in your library but if there is im assuming thered be something to let you know rather than just randomly removing songs from your library. Bear in mind these songs arent removed from spotify, they are purely removed from my playlists. I can go and search up the same songs and add them back to my playlist and then its just chance as to wether or not they stay in there. Extremely frustrating. Please can i get some help with this.

Hey @Joodain,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

There's a top of 10000 songs per playlist or your liked songs, but even if you reach the limit, the app will not remove songs automatically to decrease the number. So in this case, since this type of issue is commonly related to some damaged cache stored on your device, we'd first recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This process replaces damaged files and ensures you're running the latest version of the app.

Also, it's possible that your account might be used by someone else without your permission and doing all the changes. In that case, we'd recommend performing the security process by following the steps mentioned in this article.

If the issue persists, would you mind checking if this happens with all of your playlists or just a specific one?

Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.
