2 years on and still no fix to an obvious oversight, but not surprising considering so many other oversights (like the inability of Spotify to prevent duplicate songs from being added to a playlist or the āLikedā songs. Iām referring to songs that Iāve already liked or added to a list, yet show as not-liked or not already added to a list, either because the song belongs to a compilation album, greatest hits collection, etc.
Or the inability to auto replace tracks that have Remastered versions of the same song. Why wouldnāt anyone want to have a superior quality version of a tune? At least offer this option so users can have the ability to do so. Just like the inability to add more than 81 songs to a queue without songs being removed that we spend forever adding to, while assuming theyād become part of the queue list, only to discover that is no longer the case. Or the inability to create a playlist of queued songs (at least on mobile), forcing users to lose them if they opt to venture away from their queue.
Or Spotifyās decision to not let users create a bookmark or playlist of the recommended songs that autoplay after the first few songs from an artistās profile are through (preventing users from venturing away from these songs without losing them). Or if you accidentally click on a new song, thereās no way to get back to the recommended songs you were just playing.
Or how thereās no way to move a playlist out of a playlist folder on mobile⦠Or how thereās no way to export all Liked songs or playlist songs as a text document (a daily auto export to Dropbox, Google Drive, or email, etc)ā¦. Or the ability to Pin more than just 4 playlists or custom organize them (at least this isnāt possible on mobile), forcing users who have a lot of lists to constantly cycle through them when adding new tracks⦠or the paying artists more money so they stop leaving Spotify or omitting certain songs or albums from listening. I could go on and on, but have learned that Spotify ignores these requests despite them being obviously useful features. Instead they base them on popularity contests, even though many requests are split up between multiple threads because they are oftentimes too difficult to search for existing posts to add to the āme tooā counts.
And as an example of the un-user-friendliness of Spotifyās system, whenever I leave a comment here in the forum, it asks me if Iād like to leave feedback after my comment has been made, only to immediately force me to leave feedback before I even finish my original comment, resulting in that comment being lost. So frustrating.
