My Question or Issue
Sometimes I want to remove songs that are currently playing from my playlist. I can't search in my playlist for the song, so the easiest way to do it is to click on the queue, where the song currently playing is at the top. When I click the three dots, it gives an option 'Remove from this playlist.' I'm able to click it and assume it removes it.
Reader, it does not work. I have been plagued by several specific recurring songs that - despite being in a playlist of thousands of songs - play every single day, despite the fact that I have clicked to Remove from this playlist every day on Web Player.
Please help!
I would like to add that again today I have removed a song, then used my phone iOs app to navigate to the playlist currently being played on my laptop Web Player, searched for the song that I have removed on the Web Player and still found it to be there. Definitive proof.
I have found a workaround with the app to go one step further by selecting 'Remove from this playlist' which, gratifyingly informs me "No results found for "Perfect"" so I know that it is definitely gone. This should be an unnecessary step.
Hey @almck,
Thanks for reaching out to us 🙂
Could you give these steps a go and run a clean reinstall? That way you can make sure the app is up-to-date and the cache is not causing any issues.
You can also try with another browser. Does the issue persist?
It's also a good idea to try with another account to check if there are any changes.
