Why doesn't 'liking' an entire album add all its tracks to my 'liked tracks'?

Why doesn't 'liking' an entire album add all its tracks to my 'liked tracks'?

I primarily listen to full albums, which I know Spotify doesn't care about/isn't really built to accommodate, but up til now I've been 'liking' my favourite albums by clicking the little 'heart' icon on the top of the album rather than individually liking each track. I thought this would add all the tracks in each album to my 'liked tracks' but it doesn't seem to have been doing this.

Can anyone tell me the difference between clicking the heart on a whole album VS clicking the hearts on every track to 'like' them, and how I might be able to automatically add each track over HUNDREDS of albums I've 'hearted' to my 'liked' tracks list??

Hey @peanutismint,

Thanks for getting in touch with us 🙂

Currently there is no option to automatically add songs from an album to Liked Songs. When you like an album the whole album will be saved under Your Library> Albums.

As a workaround you can mark the first song, scroll to the end, press Ctrl+Shift and click last song, all songs of the playlist marked. Then you can add them to Liked Songs.
