Why won’t artists stay followed?

There’s certain artists that when I follow them and then close the app, they clear out and unfollow the next time I get on my mobile app. It doesn’t seem to affect the library on my laptop or my PS4. Is there any way to fix this? One of the artists is an all-time favorite and I was hoping for easy access without having to search for them outside the library every time. Thanks.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. Could you try a clean reinstall on the Spotify App? If that doesn't work, can I suggest you leave the app on and not close it for a couple of days?
