My Question or Issue
Hey Attached are 3 Files.
Image 1 ( File - Screenshot 2025-12-01 030205.png )
Image 2 ( File - Screenshot_2025-12-01-02-57-49-58)
Image 3 ( File - Screenshot 2025-12-01 101027.png)
From 5936 Songs to 8169 in like 5 minutes.
Why?
Well, i saw an Ad from Spotify for the Site "TuneMyMusic".
Which can Transfer Liked Songs / Playlists from Site XY to Spotify.
I paired the Accounts to check, and found 1 Playlist of Youtube.
( it said something around 3000 Songs - still dont know if that was the liked videos or all playlists ..).
But it didnt show me any spot where it saved the playlists.
Other sites create a playlist, ask where you want to save anything.
That Site ( again .. it was a Ad from Spotiy), didnt ask.
Now, sadly i clicked on Start .. a counter of the songs started on the Website, you didnt had a chance to stop or cancel, as i now saw ... " there is no question where to save".
Checked Spotify, and the Library Number increased.
I did instantly cancelled the account pairing to the app, but it still increased to the 8169 Songs.
Now, there would be one thing to delete all new 2.200 Songs, but they dont have the correct liked date.
As the Picture shows, they all have diff. times. and even songs i already have liked.
So is there ANY chance to fix that?
My algorhythm will be f**** and my whole library.
There are now Songs written as "liked 2h ago" which i liked 7 yrs ago.
how on earth is that possible?
TLDR:
- Spotify Ad for TuneMyMusic -> Youtube -> Spotify
- no request WHERE to Save songs -> cant stop the Transfer
- around 3100 Songs added ( even timewise in the past. Transfer clicked dec.01 around 2am -> 3100 Songs added within last 5 days.
- Liked songs from 6-7 yrs ago, now are "liked" within last 1-5 Days.
Is there any Fix?
Do i have to check the 3100 songs?
Any possibility to at least get my old Liked Dates back?
Please help me with that.
Hi there @Malic90,
Thanks for reaching out!
Sorry to hear this happened, but we'll do our best to help you solve this and get your Liked Songs back to normal. Since this is a third-party app and not a service that Spotify offers, we can't really know how it works, but if you've connected your account to it, it should appear under Manage Apps here so you can try removing it.
If that doesn't make a difference, you can try manually removing the songs in bulk in the desktop app by selecting the first one in the list, scrolling to the last one that needs removing and pressing Ctrl + Shift. Then you can right click somewhere on the selected tracks and click on Remove from your Liked Songs.
Hope this helps.
I did delete The App Restrictions like 5-10mins after i clicked "Start".
Its not paired to my Spotify anymore. And also not paired to Youtube, where it got the Songs from.
Since i auto-Sync my Liked Songs in my Phone, the "Old liked Songs" are already visible with a green Saved spot ( shows as offline song).
Many other arent saved, so i can decrease a lot of song entries.
BUT i wouldnt get back the Old Liked that right?`
There is no way of resetting my Account to Date 30.Nov for example?
A "Simple" Reset to Yesterday, would fix everything.
I have the last liked songs, the Date when the Issue happened, is there no "Backlog" or Reset we can do?
Cause i hope you know my Pain with it .. even when i delete the Songs i really dont wanna have liked, i will be end up with at least 1000 Songs, which were liked 5+ yrs ago and appear now as newly liked, even with a Date where it didnt happen.
So if i did start the App / 3rd Party Site "TuneMyMusic" on 01.Dec. at 2am - how come, the liked Date of those songs is from 27.nov - 01.dec
Hey @Malic90,
Thanks for the reply!
Unfortunately, we can't provide any info about the rearrangement of your Liked Songs due to this app, since it's a third-party one as mentioned, but when it comes to returning your playlist to its original state, it'd best if you message us directly through here as this might require sharing private info. We'd be happy to assist you further and help you get things back to normal.

Hey,
did contact Chat, had 3 different Chat Agents.
All very nice and friendly.
We could reverse the new liked songs from 8169 to around 5000.
Every "like" was visible, but around 800-1000 of my liked Songs, where also deleted -> because the Site "TuneMyMusic" did change those songs, to "newly liked". which somehow the System forgot as "Old Songs" from the BackUp.
We tried to reset Account 3x back to the last 3 days, every like in that time got away ( like it should), but my old Liked Songs where still gone.
We did now Reverse everything, to the Point of this Post.
Meaning i have now 8100 Songs, instead of 5900 .. but at least, i dont lose 1000 of my own Sounds.
TLDR:
we tried everything, but that Site literally **** everything, with old Songs getting a new like, and somehow not beeing affected by Reset to the last Days.
i can now delete every single song .. and have old songs as "New", but again .. at least i wont lose my Songs.
So there was no real Solution, but the worst case was denied ...
