"Liked songs" needs improvement because of duplicate songs

Let me explain why. For example, I like a song from a random playlist and add it to my own playlist. While exploring another songs, sometimes I see the same song that I liked but it is not appearing to be liked. For example check these ones:

They seem to be the same songs but one of them is actually fake. If I like the original song, the other song is checking as liked automaticly but if I like the fake one, nothing happens to the original song. This makes it difficult to spot the original song. There are so many songs that I face with this problem. I think combining the same songs in one song could be the solution.

Thanks for reaching out.

The behavior you're describing can happen when an album gets reuploaded by the distributors. If they have different metadata or URIs, the app will check backstage to link to the accurate track, but it will currently miss to transfer the liked status to the newer version.

We've provided guidelines to distributors of what they can do to keep tracks fully in sync and basically overwrite old versions, but we know this is something that occurs. For now we suggest that you unlike the "old" track in the liked songs or saved album and replace it with the new one.

We'll keep working on improving this experience moving forward and advise that you keep the app up to date with the latest version so that you don't miss out on any fixes.

After one year, same problem still continues. Duplicated songs must be combined by Spotify, even if the distributors re-upload them. If the song is exactly same with another one, Spotify should treat that as "reference".
