The issue is with the search function of japanese language. It stopped working for me as. The files only show up now if any of the name or artist/album metadata contain english which they can be searched by but japanese language results in 0 results....
I've never had this problem before until now, but for some reason Spotify has added all but one of my local files. It's the same file format just like all the other local files on my phone.
