Help: "Now playing" popup showing wrong song

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, unrooted. When a new song begins, the "Now playing" popup is consistently wrong, usually showing the details of the song that just ended rather than the new one beginning like it should. Any suggestions?

Help: Toaster pop-up showing previous song and not "now playing" song (?)

On my Android device, each time a new song starts the toaster is supposed to show the details of the new song, but mine shows the last song played. Any help getting this fixed please?
