18,0000 tracks will not load on iphone starred section but will play in shuffle mode

Do i have too many songs for it to load? Sometimes it will load in about 30 minutes.

Also on my phone there is nothing in the library jus in the starred section but on my spotify desktop i have my songs in both.

Generally the limit for tracks on a playlist is around 10,000 tracks - In this case, the playlist has split itself into two "collection lists". But yes, 18,000 tracks would create rather a delay in trying to load up on your iPhone.

I would recommend splitting some of these tracks up into different playlists to lighten the load a little bit.

I don't have any playlists just local files.

It took two hours to go through and make a playlists for every album and it helped a little but its still takign a long time to load.
