Ability to select by artist in Starred playlist

I just updated my iPhone and noticed when I selected my "starred" playlist it only lets me play in shuffle mode or I can filter up top.  Before this latest patch I could search my starred playlist by artist, album, song, etc..  Now it appears I have to play the song in the starred playlist and save it to "my music" in order to use the artist, song, album options.  Help someone?

Provided I've understood what you mean, there is still a filter. From your starred playlist, scroll the page down (not the list of songs) and you'll reveal the filter search bar
