Adding songs to current playlist

Hi,

How do I add songs to a current playlist and then sync it for offline mode without having to resync the whole playlist again?

If you have an offline playlist and you add a track to it, Spotify should just sync that one track to the offline playlist (not the whole playlist again). Is it redownloading all tracks when you add a track to a playlist? That seems extreme!
