After restart begins at the top of the playlist

When I start Spotify it first continues with the song which was playing when closing the app. But then starts at the top of the playlist. And my partner has the same issue.

Thanks for posting in the Community.

Does the same experience occur on devices other than the current ones with different accounts as well?

We think this may be related to some background task optimizing apps preinstalled on the phones. That's why we need the brand/model and operating system of the devices.
