Hey @Guizmo31,

Thanks for posting in the Community.

Have you tried performing a clean reinstall of the Spotify app? Here is how to do one. This makes sure you have a fresh installation of the app on your device.

It's also worth trying a different internet connection though. How did that go?

Does this happen with other mobile devices as well?

Keep us posted,

Cheers!

Hello,

I just tried to completely delete the Spotify app from my iPhone and my iPad, both on iOs 16 and the issue is still present.
No music sound. But I can hear the volume button when raising it on my sound bar, so the Airplay link is OK for me.
An iOs bug or a Spotify bug ??

For Airplay, I have to be on the same Wifi network as my sound bar so I can’t test on 4G.

Hey @Guizmo31,

Thank you for keeping in contact and for the info shared.

To continue investigating this issue, we need to gather as much info as possible. Could you check if this happens on a different device (with your own account) using AirPlay as well? If you don't have another device available, you can borrow a friend's or family member's device to test it.

Also, is this happening when connecting via Bluetooth to your sound bar or other device?

Lastly, to test it with a different Wi-Fi network, you can activate a Wi-Fi hotspot from your device and connect the sound bar to it to have both devices under the same network.

Let us know how it goes. We'll be on the lookout.

Hello Oscar,
Thank you for your return. This is also happening on my Home Pod Mini via Airplay.
Only AirPlay bug, Bluetooth and Chromecast works perfectly. This is also happening on the iPhone of my wife via AirPlay. With her Apple account different from mine.

If I tried through the wifi of the sound bar, this is also not working.

For me, the issue is on AirPlay. The bug is on Spotify or iOS.

Am’i the only one with this issue on iOS 16.1 ?

Regards,

Hey @Guizmo31,

Thank you for your message and for all the info you sent.

It's possible that the issue could be related to Airplay directly taking into account the previous info. In this case, have you noticed if the issue started after a new version or update of your iOS? If so, do you remember how long was the last time it worked properly?

Also, and if possible; could you check on a device with an older iOS version to see if it makes any difference? This will give us a better look to check if the issue is or is not on our end.

We appreciate the time you're taking reporting this issue and following the steps we sent.

Let us know how it goes.

Hello,

All my devices are on the latest version of iOS. It seems to me that the issue started with iOS 16. I don’t remember any issue with older version.
