AirPlay to AppleTV does not show album artwork anymore

With one of the last updates of Spotify on iOS the Album Artwork is not displayed anymore on my AppleTV when using AirPlay. I am not a Spotify member of a very long time, but i can remember that even the remote control of the AppleTv worked to navigate through the tracks (Next, Prev, Play, pause).

I seems that this is not working anymore... Is that a problem that more people experience? Is this a feature in the newer versions of Spotify for iOS or is this a bug?

I'm seeing the same problem except it's happening in a buggy way. Occasionally, I'll see full screen artwork, artist and song title. Most of the time I only see the artwork and title in the bottom left corner of the TV for a few seconds and then it disappears and reverts to the default Apple TV screen. Either way, the music plays fine.
