I've been using Spotify for almost 10 years, Premium, and I still can’t play a decent song on my HomePod without stutters and drops

Where’s AirPlay 2?

yep couldn't agree more. It is soooooooo jarring. It is the only thing that pulls me towards alternate streaming services.

Just forget it! Spotify will never deliver further updates for Airplay and Apple products.
Apple has long since opened up the interfaces for third-party providers. If Spotify had any interest, Airplay 2 would have been implemented long ago. 🙄
