This is a known issue which should be fixed in a future version.

Version 2.1 is now out! All album art bugs should be fixed including the display of album art for local files.

Thanks for your patience and enjoy your album covers!

The subsequent update still did not fix this. The strange thing is the album artwork is visible when the iPhone is locked, but then disappears when unlocked. So the artwork is obviously cached on the phone, just not displaying for some strange reason.

It has now been several months since album artwork went missing on my iphone when offline.  I know the community post states that it will be corrected in the future, but how far in the future????   Please give us some idea!

It's been months but there have only been 2 updates in that time - personally I suspect it will be fixed in the next one but it's impossible to know!

This bug is scheduled to be fixed in the next iOS update.

Hopefully nothing changes before release.

It seems that Spotify is not interested in the fact that we are having a problem with seeing the artwork offlline.  I have been paying the premium for offline for over a year, but as of March we can no longer see artwork albums offline.  It sucks.  Spotify keeps saying it is a known problem but has not fixed the problem for six months.  I am tired of it.  So====   Spotify, for all of the users that are paying the premium, let us have the album artwork now!!!!    I want answers now.  Give us the album artwork now!!  Are you with me, other premium customers.  This sucks....  Let's just find another venue if spotify can't seem to solve the problem.............

Hey guys! The developers are still looking into a fix for this problem. It should hopefully be in an update soon. Keep on the lookout. For real this time hopefully... 😉

Seems to be finally (somewhat) fixed. Newly synced songs now show album art when offline. Songs I had synced previously still don't display album art when offline.

Album art in offline mode was fixed in version 1.7.

It is now working for most people. I know it's a hassle, but you can try a clean reinstall of the app.

Update: I haven't tried this in the recent 1.8 update until now and it looks like album art shows for most songs, but there are a few where the album art is blank. 😞 hmm...

I'll look into it. Maybe this needs to be reported to the developers so they can look at it again.
