Albums deleted after update

There has been no sufficient discussion I can find as to why the app deletes downloaded albums after an iOS update, or how to rectify.
Why would the app be designed this way??

Thanks for getting in touch with the Spotify Community. We'd like to help. 


In this case, follow these steps: 


  1. Log in to your account page on our website and click Offline devices in the menu on the left. 
    If there are three devices listed as offline enabled, you need to disable one to enable another.
  3. Reinstall the app. Here's how
  4. Save your offline tracks again. 

It will prevent this from happening again. Let us know how it goes or, if you have any questions. We'll be here for you.
