[Announcement] - Service Outage 19.11.2012

Hi folks. We're experiencing some service issues at the moment which may include but are not limited to login errors or streaming errors. We'll update you here when we're all clear.

Just subscribed to Premium today!  I would hope that the outages are not a frequent occurrence?

Seems to be all sorts going on, certainly "not limited to". All my playlists showing zero content. Looking at memory usage for app I've lost all my offline content so will have to download it all again. Unable to search for anything. No content being displayed under "What's New". All "friends" playlists showing zero content.

When is this likely to be sorted. ??

On my computer - I've no issues. I absolutely love Spotify. The issue I've been having is with the app on my iPhone 4 and it has been ongoing for quite some time.

 

I've been using Spotify Premium for about 2 years (or more) now and in the last few months I've been having a fair few problems with syncing the local files on my computer to my iPhone and when I add/ remove songs to my standard playlist.

 

I've specifically set a folder on my computer where spotify reads them from. Everytime I try and sync them, on my computer Spotify shows me the files I want to sync, on my phone it appears to sync but then it shows me old files which I no longer want. I've set the Local files on my phone to NOT sync, yet they still appear here and don't play. When I resync then certain files download and others don't?

 

Now, after the issue with logging in appeared to be sorted (After reading a message from your Twitter saying it was fixed), I tried resyncing my local files again - Wouldn't work.

 

I've deleted the app on my iPhone and reinstalled it - Local files are syncing perfectly now but my Spotify playlist isn't!

 

This is very, very frustrating. Even more so because it will take forever for them to sync back up on my phone so that they're available offline.

 

I hope this all gets sorted very quickly. I love the service but when there's issues like this, when you're paying for a service, it's even more annoying.

 

The service outage has been mitigated so you shouldn't experience any issues logging in or browsing. If you're still experiencing issues, or you just want to be super friendly and let us know that all is well again, please post here.

Using iphone4. App allowed me to search but when I went through artist to see albums, nothing came up-then app crashed. Only 1 track showing in my playlists-I've already lost all my synched content having reinstalled earlier. Trust this will be sorted soon!

I can play songs (not just those in offline playlists), but clicking on an album in a search (or listing the tracks for an album when i am streaming a song) does not respond or crashes the app.
(iPhone 4s ios5.1, latest app version)

I have the same problem-when trying to access any album the app simply crashes.

Track list on iphone are still empty, even after uninstall & reinstall

Same as above ... new plalists on iphone are empty

Everything seems to be back on iOS version for me with obvious exception of offline content which will need to be downloaded again. Thanks for updates.

I'm good now too.

Seems to be working again. Just need to download my playlist for offline.

still got problems with load times, playlist errors and lag 😕

Still got connection problems, load times errors with error code 114 and playlist errors since yesterday, too 😞 

I'm still having trouble. Now getting error 802... This is a Premium account also, are we getting any refunds? I mean, it's been almost a full day already.
