App extremely slow on iPhone 4s after update

Hi,

 

After the most recently update to the Spotify app on my iPhone 4s, it runs VERY slow and doesn't want to do anything. It takes minutes to start up, is practically unresponsive to touch, and it is at the point where I can't even scroll. It won't move, it won't do anything. It has gotten to the point where it has become unusable on my phone, which is why I started a Premium subscription in the first place.

 

I have attempted restarting the app, restarting the phone and even doing an uninstall/reinstall. Nothing helps it. If this is not fixable, I will need to cancel my subscription, since I do not want to be paying for something I can't even use.

Do you have the "Collections" tab in the app?

Would that be in the same drop-down where I'd find Search, Playlists, etc? If so, then I do not.

What version of iOS are you using?

Whats a Spotify Rock Star?

At the moment it's iOS 7.0.4.

 

As luck would have it, it's actually been moving along much better since I first posted. Kind of funny 🙂

 

But for future reference, I'd still appreciate any help for if/when it happens again. I know it's probably becoming much more difficult since everything is more compatible for iPhone 5's.
