AppleTV songs stop and it backs out of playlist

AppleTV songs stop and it backs out of playlist

Not sure if this is a known issue, but I've got a playlist (nothing fancy, songs searched/added, works on mac, phone, Tesla, etc. just fine).

 

When I play it, then enable shuffle, and within 30 seconds, the song stops and it backs out to the main menu. Not sure if this is a known issue.

 

  • Paid personal plan,
  • near Seattle, WA, USA
  • Internet is really good
  • Apple 4k 2nd gen (mid 2021 model), all system updates installed.
  • Spotify installed fresh as of 10 minutes ago.

Hey @uwwinn,

 

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

 

We'd suggest to continue by forcing the closure of the Spotify app. To do it, double tap the home screen button (on the Apple TV remote) > Swipe up Spotify. Once you've done that, make sure both the app and your device are up to date. Then restart your device.
 

If this doesn't do the trick, can you let us know if this is happening with another account? If not sure, you can log in with a different account to check if the inconvenience persists there.

 

Lastly, do you notice any difference if you change the internet connection you're using? If possible, you can create a hotspot with your mobile phone. Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
