My Question or Issue

Hi, I just noticed that the monthly listeners count is no longer showing on  artist pages on Spotify. For example, the number used to appear under their name, but now it's gone.

Is this a bug or a new design change? 

Would appreciate any clarification or if others are seeing the same issue. Thanks!

Welcome to the Community and thanks for posting this thread!

We had a look, but artists' monthly listeners count is still visible on the iOS app for us, so let's troubleshoot together. Is it particular artists this is happening with on your end?

If you've not done this already, could you give Spotify a clean reinstall with the steps here? It's more detailed than a regular one, includes clearing the cache (which causes performance issues when it's corrupted) and also ensures that you're using the latest app version.

If there's no difference, feel free to send us the exact app version you're using and let us know if the same behavior persists on another device.

We're here if anything else comes up in the meantime.

I’m having the same issue 

I can not see the monthly listeners from my Spotify App from my iOS device. I’m using an iPhone 15.
I’ve checked with other users and they don’t seem to be having this problem.

I just deleted the caché, uninstalled and deleted the app. Installed it back again and it’s still not showing up

maybe this is due to the device you open Spotify from?

Can you confirm if you can't see monthly listeners overall or is it just for specific artists that they're missing? It'd be great if you can share a couple of examples and screenshots so that we can have a closer look. 

If you've already performed a clean reinstall of the app using these steps, I'd also recommend logging out of the app and back in a couple of times in a row to make sure everything's synced. Another thing worth trying is asking a friend or relative to log in their own account on your phone to check if they experience the same. This will help us identify if it's account- or device-related.

It'd be really helpful if you can send us the exact Spotify version you're currently running as @Ivelina requested, so that we can investigate this further.

thanks for reaching back. 
I can confirm it’s all artist that are missing the monthly listeners. Here are a few screenshots. 

I’m using an iPhone 15, and can’t see it from my Spotify phone app (I’m running the Spotify 9.0.50.511 version). I can see it from my PC though. 

I have logged with my account on someone else’s phone device and have no issue. For some reason, it doesn’t appear on my phone.

Hi! I can't view monthly listeners either. iPhone 16e, iOS 18.5. I cannot see any monthly listeners on niche bands like Kiltro, or large artists like Sabrine Carpenter and Tate McRae

We'll just need to make sure we're getting all necessary info.

First, @aalvgon99, could you let us know the exact iOS version on your device? Additionally, you mention this didn't happen when you logged into your account on a different device. Was that an iOS device as well? And could you ask someone to log in with their account on your device to check if they're also missing the artist monthly listeners?

Now, @Djinn_and_Tonic, could you let us know the Spotify version you have installed right now? And did you maybe try reinstalling the app like we suggested before? No worries, you won't lose any saved content, and it's just to make sure if the behavior persists. Lastly, you mentioned some specific artists; just to check, are you able to see the monthly listeners on some artist's profiles or none?

To answer your question – I’m not able to see the monthly listeners for any artist on my end.

I’ve already tried a clean reinstall of the Spotify app, including clearing the cache, but unfortunately it didn’t solve the issue.

Here are some more details:

• My Spotify app version is 9.0.50

• I’ve logged into my account on both iPad and MacBook, and I can see the monthly listeners data there

• The issue only occurs on my iPhone

• My phone model is iPhone 16

We were unable to replicate the behavior from our side, but after seeing you're all experiencing this, we've passed it onto our tech folks and they'll look into it.
